Members’ Evening – Somerset Road Safety

Andy McKay from Somerset Road Safety, a WAM member, will be our guest speaker on Wednesday, 20th May. His talk will cover:

• Engagement with schools, primary, secondary and Somerset colleges. (most of us are parents/grandparents!)
• The “Learn to Live” program for aspiring/new drivers and passengers.
• The “Raise your Ride” scheme ( BikeSafe nationally) introduction to advanced riding techniques.
• Engagement with riders at bike meets
• Mature driver talks (U3A) “Keeping safely independent driving in later life”
• Plus lots more if we have time!
